1970s Unpolished Cartier Gondole Vertical 97050 18K Jumbo XL "Paris" Dial

Outstanding unpolished Cartier Gondole Jumbo XL "vertical" executed in 18k gold with correct „Paris“ signed dial, dating back to the 1970s. This rare jumbo Gondole features a oversized stepped case, measuring 35x40mm. This model marks a milestone back in the days, while Cartier was known for smaller sized dresswatches. This particular example named "vertical" because of it's elongated shape. Highly collectible not only because of it's rarity but also because of it's extremly well-preserved condition. It comes on the original Cartier leather strap and 18k gold deployant clasp.
 
Case: Perfect unpolished case with it's factory bevels clearly visible. The stepped case shows only light wear from use.
 
Dial: Original white enamel dial with "Paris" printed at the bottom remains in excellent condition, showing no patina at all.
 
Bracelet: Original black must de Cartier leather strap with it's original 18k gold deployant clasp.
 
Movement: The manual winding movement has been carefully checked by our watchmaker, running great.
